Evaluation / Sustainability
An evaluation of the implemented activities is crucial in order to make a clear statement about their effectiveness and to make adequate adjustments according to its results. The range of possible tools ranges from simple employee surveys to prospective clinical studies / trials including the use of control groups. In this way corporate health management becomes not only more effective but also more transparent and tangible. In addition to the near term goal of reduced back pain within a group of employees after a weekly realized back pain prevention program, a decrease in sick days is a potential and realistic long term aim.. This clearly makes health management more than just a “nice to have”.
